Indigenous Employment

ResearchCrowd recently returned from the Indigenous Employment Forum. The Forum was held over three days on the traditional lands of the Yuggera and Turribul people. It opened with a heartfelt Welcome to Country by Deborah Sandy, Yugara-Yugarapul Aboriginal Corporation.

Representatives from business, government, universities and communities attended in person and virtually. They shared knowledge, expertise and curiosity around developing practical strategies to improve employment outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through community collaboration and partnerships.

ResearchCrowd was honoured to work in partnership with the First Nations Indigenous Chamber of Commerce and chair talks on Supporting Indigenous Futures, and Training and Development in Design Programs.

Thank you to Aventedge for organising this Indigenous Employment Forum.
